album notes: ædæm is nonexistence in arabic, used in farsi as well. in english we literally go through existence to explain nonexistence, much like our cognitive capacity makes us to lean on existence in order to imagine over the edge, as we ourselves exist. hence representations can be more direct to face up ædæm. these representations although require comparison to comprehend, have their own characteristics, such as absence of air, absence of heat, absence of sound, and absence of light. even they are the lack of something, they have their own characteristics for us to recognize, adding these and finding their common characteristic can paint a more clear picture of nonexistence. the project is complied of five pieces, each piece is an improvisation on korg’s reissue of arp odyssey module, overdubbed twice, all improvisation, with no editing and only compression in mixing.
